About Me

My name is Curtis Scott, I’m a Web Designer with a passion for design, CSS & XHTML. Before attending college, I received a Tech Prep Seal for Advertising and Design and realized I wanted to go to college to study web design. While earning my BFA in Multimedia/Web Design from The Art Institute of Washington, I quickly developed my skills creating great UI (User Interface) designs that are user friendly and cross-browser compliant.

Toward the end of college I worked as a production artist at Allied Advertising in Washington, DC while continuing to freelance in web design. My acquired skills landed me a web job at Renegade Productions, located in Hunt Valley, Maryland, as a Web Designer. While at Renegade Productions, I continued to expand my knowledge in Adobe software and CSS/XHTML coding. My first project was a full flash website for a short film entitled Push, where I learned how to professionally compress flash video for the internet, and integrate the video into an interactive website.

In fall of 2007 I was the lead flash developer on a Towson University micro-website that helped boost enrollment for the school. By winter of 2007 I went for flash training and received Certificates of Achievement for Adobe Certified Training in Flash CS3, and Action Script 3.0. The GraceBeforeMeals.com website redesign was launched in early February 2008, and at the time represented my some of my best work, helping to propel my career.
